Your book brought back some great memories. Those were very special times getting ready to go down to the ice in Punta. But the trek itself was incredibly grueling. Jamie and I ended up being in a TV series back here in NZ for a few years called "First Crossings". That was telling the stories of pioneering explorers by reenacting their trips. Fantastic fun! (When it wasn't freezing cold!). -Kevin Biggar
Wow, this is a Fantastic Book!! Incredibly interesting, and the photos are SUPERB. Congratulations, Ray and Jenny, for completing such an amazing journey. You are very courageous people, and Jenny is one strong lady. It's wonderful to see people loving the world/life. Makes me kind of feel like I haven't lived yet. Absolutely tremendous job on the book!!" - Sherry B.
"Thanks for the book. It was a great read and very engrossing. As always, it served to stoke the adventure fire in me and make me want to do pursue my own NFT. The pictures are amazing and I really appreciate how you describe both the beauty and the challenges that you faced. Thanks again to both of you." -Andrew F.
Overview: After a year and a half of preparations, we went to Antarctica. Starting from very near the coast, we skied 58 days to the South Pole. Jenny returned home, and I joined an expedition to climb the highest peak in Antarctica, Mt. Vinson, at 16,050 feet. Then I went to Argentina and climbed to 22,025 feet on Aconcagua. Altogether I was away from home for nearly four months.
