Pocket Planner for the Continental Divide Trail

"The definitive guide for planning a thru-hike of the Continental Divide Trail"

Copyright 1994, 1995 by Ray Jardine

From the Back Cover:

"The CDT Pocket Planner is a succinct and definitive guide for planning a thru-hike of the Continental Divide Trail. It helps you decide whether to hike northward or southward. It tells what special equipment you may need. It describes where grizzly bears might be encountered and how best to avoid them. It lists the appropriate resupply points and summarizes the amenities in their vicinities. And it tells what maps you will need and where to buy them. Once you have purchased the maps, the Pocket Planner lists a number of waypoints that you can highlight on your maps to delineate our recommended route. It gives a set of six itineraries, listing the resupply points and detailing how much food and supplies to place in each of your resupply parcels."
